  • Hello Freshman,
You are going to enjoy orchestra a lot. It is a lot of fun. You are going to improve so much with Dr G as your instructor. She is a great teacher. Good luck and don’t be so uptight. Have some fun!

  • Dear New Fishes,
Get ready to work. Once you get to high school orchestra, you will work so hard. But it is all worth it when you play on the stage and everyone is amazed.

  • Dear Freshman:
The Marcus Orchestra is one of a kind. It is something you will never forget. You will grow musically but also as an individual. I promise, it is fun. You will love it.

  • Have fun, it is really not that hard.

  • Be in your seat by 8:43, otherwise, detention! Trust me, it stinks!

  • This year was the funnest year of orchestra I’ve ever had.  The main thing that I learned was that you need to pay attention. Dr G has no patience for it.

  • If everyone does their part, then you get to play beastly music. Work hard and you’ll have tons of fun, especially on the trip.

  • Always try your hardest even though it might be hard. Never give up.

  • Give 100% effort everyday and always do your best. Be respectful and kind to Dr G, she works really hard for all of us.

  • Stay in orchestra and keep up your hard work and never quit.
