  • Don’t worry about coming into a huge school. You’ll meet so many different people and make a lot of new friends.  Just be yourself and you will be just fine :)  Good luck, Caroline

  • “Practice, Practice, Practice,” - Anon

  • Orchestra isn’t about being the best and beating the rest, it’s about being with your friends, working together and having fun!
Caroline
Zach

  • Orchestra is one of the best groups you can be in. You meet people that you have something in common with and are able to make new friends. You are able to go to places you’ve never been before and even though it is a ton of work, it’s all worth it with the fun that you get to have later.

  • Fish- Orchestra is awesome! Dr G only pushes you because it is good for you and ya can handle it. Stay in orchestra and you will not regret it!

  • When you join the Marcus Orchestra, it is important that you are active in every fundraiser you have time to go to. It is also important to listen to the director at all times, and practice a lot to keep your mind and playing skills sharp.

  • One of the things to expect in the Marcus Orchestra is hard work. Dr G prides herself in getting sweepstakes and she will push you and push you to do your best. There is never a dull moment in the orchestra; you will have to be dedicated to succeed.
